Compendium numbers they don't change anything, what is it?

I got this, just asking because it's there as an option but I don't see any change.
Also am I the only one seeing this? or as long as I have it active will others see it?.
at the end of the game for example everyone has archon 4 and I divine 5, only I see it?.
also one last thing, will there be a Plugin for skins?
